How to Automatically Login to Vista
So you’re the only one who uses your computer at home and it annoys you to wait for that login prompt where you have to enter the password to your user’s account. But wouldn’t it be nice if you could just readily fire up Windows and start using it right away. You can just press the power button and wait for the desktop to show. Here’s how you can stop Vista from asking for your password every time you start your PC. My desktop PC which is running on XP is set to this behavior. I’m running Vista on my laptop and as an extra security cushion, I’m not using this. But I assure you, this works.
