Microsoft confirms Office 2007 timeline
Microsoft has confirmed the new release schedule of Office 2007 suite.
Microsoft Office 2007 would be completed in October as planned and would be available at that time to large customers that buy software licenses in bulk.
But Microsoft Office 2007 will not hit retail shelves until January 2007, to coincide with Windows Vista's retail debut.
This announcement comes just three days after Microsoft confirmed that it will delay the consumer version of its new Windows Vista operating system.
