Adobe, Apple plan additional office space
Anticipating future expansion, Apple and Adobe are expanding office space by buying additional property.
Adobe has bought 5.5 acres in San Jose (picture below) that is about a quarter-mile from the software company's Park Avenue headquarters. Adobe has no immediate plans to build there, but wanted to secure the site to allow room for expansion. [via]
Apple is also planning to build a second 50-acre campus near its present headquarters in Cupertino, California. It would likely take three to four years to design and build the campus that could accommodate 3,000 to 3,500 employees. [via]
