Adobe PDF Print Engine allows print jobs to remain device-independent across the workflow by capturing process information from both JDF (Job Definition Format) and PDF files.

With the new Adobe PDF print engine, PDF content remains unconverted throught the workflow. That means no flattening of transparencies and you will be able to make last minute edits to the PDF file. The print job can be redirected to any kind of supported printer without going to the native application to recreate the print job.
