While Yahoo is redesigning the homepage, Google is working on making the search results more interactive and useful. The latest innovation is Expandable Results and integrated site search (see full size screenshot)



There's a little blue arrow near the title of every page, clicking the arrow shows you content from the destination page without have to visit the link - Great feature for quick web research but bad for webmasters as it would reduce traffic to their websites.



Obviously, the expandable results feature is still under testing but yellowpipe managed to pull the Google screenshots while they searched for "warning"



Expandable results also let you explore a website directly and even do a site search using Google Search. This looks good for web surfers but not for webmasters. Hope Google gives an option to opt out of this feature.
